This is a real product from China.
After several Google searches that have probably landed me on yet another watchlist, I am pleased to announce I know exactly where you can buy this machine (for a friend). It’s made by Sanwe Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., who say:
We consistently adhere to the service philosophy of “Customer is friend rather than God” and hope to provide users more benefits, more convenience and more enjoyable healthy life with our superior quality products, thoughtful service and absolute faithfulness.
Thoughtful service and friendliness indeed. And they sell these for only $2,800 and say they can manufacture up to ten of these machines per week (for a friend).
Here is a fun photo project by Frenchman Stefan Le Du starring TK455 and TK479, Stormtroopers in the Galactic Empire Army. Star Wars stormtroopers might be the bloodthirsty clone soldiers of the Empire, but have you ever wondered what they do on their day off? Stormtroopers aren't fighting in battles every single day like you see in the Star Wars films. For last one year he had been taking a new photo a day of what Darth Vader's white-helmeted henchmen get up to in their spare time, and posting it on Flickr. Here is what they do when they have some free time.
There are a variety of situations in life where it feels like there’s a miscommunication between people, objects, concepts or ideas. If only they could write a letter and communicate with each other, everything would be resolved.
Well, in this amusing series, you’ll see these hypothetical letters.
There are some things in life that school, parents or The Discovery Channel just can't teach us. Sure, if you're ever on "Jeopardy!" then it may be useful to know the capital of Kyrgyzstan or the author of "War and Peace," but for everything else, there can only be one reliable authoritah: "South Park."
Over the last 14 years, "South Park" has bridged the educational gap and raised awareness of some of the more taboo but important issues in society. The show has not only broadened our minds, but also our vocabulary. Just take a look at some of the words "South Park" has added to our vocabulary...
Painted by Mickey Harris of Mountain Muscle Cars. The projected was directed by the General Motors Show Car Division, and features about three months worth of patriotic images airbrushed across its body panels.
Filmed at the Chengdu Panda Sanctuary, China.
These amazing artworks may feature just tiny people, but they're set to bag their creator a huge profit.
Quirky French snapper Vincent Bousserez has created a vast selection of pictures of miniature plastic people carrying out day-to-day activities.
Vincent, from Paris, came up with the 'Plastic Life' series following a trip to a miniature model shop four years ago.
A nebula (from Latin: "cloud"; pl. nebulae or nebulæ, with ligature or nebulas) is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen gas, helium gas and other ionized gases. Originally, nebula was a general name for any extended astronomical object, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way (some examples of the older usage survive; for example, the Andromeda Galaxy was referred to as the Andromeda Nebula before galaxies were discovered by Edwin Hubble). Nebulae often form star-forming regions, such as in the Eagle Nebula. This nebula is depicted in one of NASA's most famous images, the "Pillars of Creation". In these regions the formations of gas, dust, and other materials "clump" together to form larger masses, which attract further matter, and eventually will become big enough to form stars. The remaining materials are then believed to form planets, and other planetary system objects.
